The image was made of the wonderful blue green waters of the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides in the far north of Scotland; far, far away from the Madding Crowd. Harris is famous for the beautiful colour of the water that flows around the south end of the island. This is a deserted quiet place where few people visit. A place of dreams where you can relax and walk along endless silver sand beaches and be entirely alone.

I photograph and print every image, I do not outsource any part of my workflow. Each canvas has been painstakingly crafted to ensure the true colours, resolution and texture are exactly as they should be.
