Politicians are often obsessed with mythologies especially Babylonian and earlier - Sumerian.

This painting depicts a room in a British stately home (Wotton House) that currently belongs to a former British PM. The spheres on the dining table represent three key celestial bodies. It also represents the Babylonian sacred Trinity. Mandala can be seen in the background.
