One of my painting as my pseudo : Romain Héjé, when i walk through the garden to the old barn where i paint on sundays when everyone left.
The model for this portrait is a newspaper photography of the recently passed away racing car driver Niki Lauda. He is at the beginning of his carrer in the photography.I like his strong determinate look with a hint of softnes. I like his personality the way he did set his own rules the braveness he showed comming back from a terrible accident. The painting has a smooth silky varnish finish. The canva is streched by the artist.
