Broadford is a village in the Isle of Skye which sits just at the start of the Cuillin ridge of mountains.
This cottage I remember from my youth when I stayed there at my cousins house for a couple of days a long time ago.
Here the low light in winter bounces off the sea revealing a landscape of shifting shadows and rays which briefly illuminate the cottages shoreline before nightfall sets in.
I have tried to capture this moment before dusk where the last bright rays dart along the shoreline catching cottages like searchlights,
