Entirely made from old car parts that sculpture is particularly special to me because I had the finished picture of it in my mind at the moment I touched its first part. The long story short – if you’ve never tried to remove a windshield wiper with a single wrench then you could only imagine the struggle I went through collecting all of them from a friend’s car morgue. You pull – it pulls back. Much like a fight with a strong bird I suppose. This is how the idea for an eagle made out of wipers came to me during this interaction.
