Original artwork description:
We rented a cabin on Lake Marion at Santee State Park the first weekend of October 2011 and I got a lot of great sky shots as the sun set. I just had to turn the best one into a painting. The sky to the east over the public dock was reflecting the colors of the setting sun and created awesome color in the clouds.
I use professional quality Windsor & Newton oil paints and the surface of this 18 X 24 inch canvas is coated with Dammar vanish for protective shine. It comes in an ornate gold frame as shown for $795.00. The outside dimensions of the frame measure 23 X 29 inches.
