Night skies over the Chimneys of Poolbeg is one of a series of recent works I have based on these 2 amazingly striking and beautiful chimneys, it’s hard to believe that anything industrial can actually be beautiful but these proud chimneys succeed…
I have always been drawn to these chimneys and loved to spot from the train window when I was a child and later on the dart … This painting glories in the striking contrast between the red & white stripes and the dramatic cloudscape behind them, the chimneys are almost jewel like against the blues of the sky
This painting is framed as shown and comes with a signed certificate of Authenticity
