Original artwork description:
In this drawing I wanted to focus on a small area of the city at night. I liked the way street and traffic lights cut through the darkness in the city illuminating certain parts of buildings and pulling them out from the dark. This was a fun challenge in restraint and where not to draw as I wanted to use the original black paper to show areas of the shadowy scene.
