Original artwork description:

This painting is based on a campsite in the White Mountains of New Hampshire during a motorcycle road trip. I'm interested in the competing light sources of the campfire and the lantern in the distance that sits on the porch of a cabin that my brother and I stayed in. The light gives me the feeling of an inviting and comfortable place to stay the night.
