From The Last Two Years series begun in 2012. My beloved mother had died. i wanted to process the rollercoaster of grief by painting a face a day. The cathartic practice proliferated a community of expressive faces populating his studio. Night Light is tangential in that it is one of several enlarged versions at 60 inches square.
