The artist is no angler, but her boyfriend is obsessed. He does all sorts of fishing but the current thing is fishing the Bristol Channel off the shore, this leads to all sorts of strange trips at random hours because it all depends on the tide, and time and tide wait for no man.
So the artist just goes along for the trip and the experience, what better experience than to spend a night watching the sun go down and then eventually rising, sleeping on and off laid out on the reefs. The thing with fishing is that it takes you to places you would never otherwise know.
