Nieuwe Veenmolen – 23-09-18

The Nieuwe Veenmolen, dating back from 1652, is situated nearby to where I live. Last summer I saw a thatcher repairing the roof. In my ever search for harmonizing all kinds of differenet styles from the past, like luminism, pointillism, impressionism, realism, cubism and expressionism, I tried to make a kind of mix with the ultimate goal to make the abstract plausible through the placement of figurative key elements.
