Original artwork description:

The earth revolves around the sun but New York is another planet.  When the sun sets on the island a new star is on the rise.  White-hot neon lights the way.  It shines upon the winners and forgets all those in the shadows.  Eventually, though, all stars must die. They flicker and flash in a final swan song. As quickly as they arrive, the stars evaporate to dust. And then, with the same rapid speed, a new star is born. The new star basks in the light of the great white way but forever doesn’t exist on planet Manhattan.
