The culmination of a number of themes that I had been playing with: the idea of a "fall" from grace and a departure from an ideal place...a so called Garden of Eden...and that we were somehow to "blame". I wanted to play with a perspective of "no blame" and that we never actually "left" the place where we are already whole. This meditative piece grew out of my intention to shed new light and evolved from an inner landscape whilst being largely painted in my garden during the glorious afternoons of an idylic summer (read more about this under the Me At Work tab).
This is a shallow-sided canvas with white painted sides, ready to hang or frame as preferred.
