"New humanity" (Nouvelle humanité) is a small sculpture modelled in sun-dried natural grey clay, then painted with water-soluble oil and varnished.

It represents the truncated bust of a man with a naked skull, whose strangeness symbolises a new humanity. T
he posture of the face and the man's expression are reminiscent of the past grandeur of the pharaohs of ancient Egypt, when they appeared in private, naked and uncapped.
