I was inspired by how striking the new grass is at this time of year. The grass is vivid and lush, there is little other in the landscape that is so bright. The only green trees in leaf are evergreen which are dark green. There is nothing else green to compete with the new grass so bold and beautiful in the winter’s end sunlight. Painted on a burnt Sienna ground. The painting’s title is recorded on the edges, Left, new Green Grass, Right,Herald of Spring. Signed on the right edge, signed titled and dated on the reverse Presented ready to hang Shipped carefully packed in mostly recycled materials, with an artist’s certificate, dispatched with a track and trace identity.
