It is when life troubles me that I am drawn to those solitary walks, and this path Towards the sunset in the New Forest gives me the wide views I remember so well from my youth, in Holland. In these moments I can ground myself and gain perspective again. The ever changing sky teaches my that change is part of natures pattern and through that I can connect with my inner self and there find the peace that that connection brings. I hope this is something the viewer can find in this framed painting too. The picture of this painting continues around the edge of the canvas and is set in a tray frame giving it a 3-D effect. It is ready to hang.
