Original artwork description:

The start of a new day brings the warmth and energy of the sun to the waking world. In this painting I have tried to capture the life-giving white light of the sun transposed into the colours of the rainbow that are resplendent in nature.
Created with acrylic paints, gel medium, modelling paste, Liquidex professional spray paint and acrylic primers. This painting has gone through many transformations and sanding between layers to give a striking 3d effect and really bring out all the colors and textures.
