The beginning, of a new day, of a new month, or even a new year, could be the beginning of a new life, interpreting feelings in abstract form is maybe the purest of art, the transmission between me, the artist, and you the viewer is unimpeded by recognizable image, and you, as the viewer can "see" with your mind. My color choices are clearly informed by my Nordic heritage, with a tempered dose of my long stint in other cultures. Here I have chosen a range of pinks and grays, with a touch of green.

The painting, on ready to hang stretched canvas, measures just under 30" x 30", it is painted in acrylics and UV varnished. I have subtly signed the work on the front, adding the title, year and signature to the back. It comes ready to hang, prepared with hangers, no running around, ready to go on the wall with the sides painted black.
