Original artwork description:

Acrylic on canvas.
120cm x 100cm x 4cm.
This bright and vibrant canvas is painted in the style of contemporary German artist, Gerhard Richter.
Richter's innovative method of blending and lifting colour fascinates me. This method continues to teach me the many different ways colours can react to unconventional manipulation. The Acrylic paint is laid thickly on the canvas and dragged slowly, pausing to create surface disturbances, peaks and lows. The colours merge and react, creating quite an intriguing effect.

Materials used:

Acrylic
