I have recently loved creating a number of monoprints (one-off prints) using acrylic paint and occasionally cut stencils, used found materials (such and leaves,twigs, feathers and netting). It is such a playful and impromptu way to work with some very interesting results. The prints are created using a Gel plate, or sometimes a home-made gelatine plate, mainly with acrylic and sometimes with the addition of wax pastel or ink. The paper is repeatedly held down onto the plate, after the addition of new layers of colour.

I hope you enjoy looking through the range of different prints I have created.

Square prints are printed using a Gel plate which is 15cm x 15cm

rectangular prints vary a bit as they are printed on a very home-made and informal plate but art typically approximately 21 cm x 21cm
