Nessie (2022) is a piece made of pastels, charcoal and acrylics, on an unprimed cotton canvas.
Part of the Utopia series, this artwork can be considered a self-portrait. I enjoy escaping reality in the countryside, where I can be alone surrounded by nothing but the sounds of nature. A location which has always fascinated me is the Loch Ness, in Scotland. I base many of my stories and subjects, creative sceneries on this magical, mythical place.
