In Greek mythology, the Nereids (Νηρηίδες)
were friendly sea nymphs who helped sailors.

Leiagore (Λειαγόρη) means smooth speaker.

Inspired by a Slavic folk tale, “Tears of pearls”, where a poor baby girl is blessed with weird fairy gifts. Whenever she would smile, a beautiful rose would drop out of nowhere right next to her. Whenever she would cry, her tears would be transformed into precious pearls. Her mother never told her and chose to raise her in a way that she would always smile and never ever shed a tear. True love and caring, this concept always felt so heartwarming – therefore this is also a little tribute to that amazing story.
