This painting explores and celebrates the vibrant colours and turbulent movement of the ocean. Innovative use of mixed media and much layering of pigments and washes are used to create magical maritime colours and shapes. Looking through the waves one sees the troubled waters moving into a smooth calming harmonious sequence of the elements.

This is a small , affordable piece of the collection. Coloured gloss resin has been painted onto Bockingford watercolour paper. It is presented mounted to fit into a standard, off the peg 12"/30cm frame. Signed on the reverse.
