Original artwork description:

This painting explores and celebrates the vibrant colours and turbulent movement of the ocean. Innovative use of mixed media and much layering of pigments and washes are used to create magical maritime colours and shapes. Looking through the waves one sees the troubled waters moving into a smooth calming harmonious sequence of the elements.

This textured abstract is painted on a slimline canvas and is strung, ready to hang.
The central part of the painting is coated in gloss varnish, which adds an extra dimension to the level of detail.

Should this be purchased as a gift, the artist is happy to provide a personalised calligraphically written note to accompany it.

Materials used:

Mixed media , Gloss resin
