Original artwork description:

This painting explores and celebrates the vibrant colours and turbulent movement of the ocean. Looking through the waves one sees the troubled waters move into calmer , soothing seas.
Innovative use of mixed media and much layering of pigments and washes are used to create magical maritime colours and shapes. Spray paint and various immiscible liquid paints are employed to cause wonderful patterns and textures as they interact together. These textures are built up gradually until the painting is balanced and aesthetically pleasing.

Painted over 3 box canvases which can be hung together or slightly apart, the sides of which have been sprayed gold. Signed on the reverse. Strung ready to hang.
