This painting explores and celebrates the vibrant colours and turbulent movement of the ocean. Innovative use of mixed media and much layering of pigments and washes are used to create magical maritime colours and shapes. Looking through the waves one sees the troubled waters moving into a smooth calming harmonious sequence of the elements.

This textured abstract is painted on an aluminium panel firmly adhered to a slimline canvas which is strung, ready to hang.
The painting is constructed of layers of coloured gloss resin, acrylic and gold pigment . This give a 3 dimensional element and creates a "wow factor".
