Plants are one of my fave subjects for painting. This one goes back a few years, around 2012… it is not dated.
Tis one is inspired by a pitcher plant I once purchased that looked pretty much like this.
This is a folded page (paper is 10x7 inch) thus forms a card 5x7 inches. I include an envelope with the painting. So it can be framed art, or a lovely original painting greeting card for an easy, versatile gift.
I like to work with this thick handmade paper for the added texture it brings to the painting.
Then there’s me holding the card, envelope underneath.
