My favorite way of painting is to color faces with emotions. They are showing trough time and defining a personality. It's like a map of one's past and recent feelings compressed into one moment.
A piece from my "colorful emotions" collection where I mix fauvism and pop-art styles. Original hand-made oil painting on canvas, a small miniature made with a palette knife only - a very painstaking and precise work. To make colors more intense and give an artwork a changing look depending on lighting, small portions of fluorescent powders are admixed into oil paints.
