Nectar captures the essence of the heat of Summer, the vibrant warmth of the sun's rays adding energy and vitality to the earth in rich yellow, orange and amber tones. Painted in an abstract expressionist style, layers of paint are applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface.

Painted on a piece of canvas with an extra 4 inches around the 40” x 40” painting which allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame.
