The painting titled "Neblina", fog, belongs to the series titled "Urbes", and although they are landscapes, they are practically abstractions. Uruguay has coasts on the ocean, and the sea is very important for us. But my landscapes can be anywhere in the world, since the viewer is free to distinguish what he wants or sees. They are painted with different spatulas, which generate reliefs and textures, and are for me a great liberation and pleasure because they allow me to play with colors and experiment with scenes that although they arise from my imagination, they refer to that special horizon between the sky and the sea.
It is a unique painting that means a lot to me, because the sea is always beautiful even when the fog blurs the horizon.
