This painting depicts one of the communal areas in the Georgian New Town district of Edinburgh. I like the combination of trees and glimpses of buildings through the trees. I wanted to create as sense of enticement into the space, and also a sense of rhythm and movement felt in the trees. I also enjoy the soft colours of Autumn and wished to share that too.
Framed to a very high standard by one of Edinburgh's top framers. Ready to hang on the wall.
