This series is inspired by current marine annals and fossil remains, filtering their shape through organic abstraction.
The objective is to capture the idea of a marine animal from the past but filtered through a filter of modern geometry. It is about ensuring that the viewer is not sure of what he is seeing, is it an animal representation that has been processed through the parameters of abastraction? Or, is it an abastraction form that fleetingly resembles some kind of animal?
The finish of this piece made of steel is natural oxide, which contributes to the feeling of being in front of an object from the past.
