ART WORK CONCEPT:
The Nautilius miniature is one of three paintings from the "shelters" series. Everyone needs a shelter, a home, a safe space in order to coexist in harmony. But what if you don't belong anywhere ? then you become your own shelter. Like a nautilus, a snail or a crab, you carry your shell house with you.
TECHNIQUE:
The artwork is painted on gallery wrap primed canvas and is ready for hanging. I used acrylic because of its brightness and mobility. The painting is made in the genre of magical realism.
AUTHORS CONCEPT:
All my artworks are based on real events and deeply personal experiences, which I express through metaphorical appeals, surrealistic forms and variety of signs. All buildings, objects, people at pictures are real and based on my memories, photos and real life models.
