Autumn leaves are great to look at in their own right. The contrasting red and yellow of these Japanese Maple leaves in Batsford Arboretum in Gloucestershire's Cotswold Hills made me want to intensify the colours and create something a little different.

As with all my images of this size, this is dry mounted on a backing board to avoid wrinkling in future. A double mount inside a black or white contemporary wooden box frame sets this image off beautifully.
