Original artwork description:

This is done with acrylic and ink. Image is accented with leaves done with black ink to add contrast and drama. Bright colors surround the image of the sleeping girl with her two cats. The color is explosive. This piece is realistic but also abstracted by combining the traditional use of acrylics with my black images which were inspired my career in the digital arts. The trees are realistic but also abstract because you have a hint of them with the white negative space. The negative space balances the colored space and images. The sleeping girl is in a dream state.
