Original artwork description:

Some think it must be easy to sit down for a few hours whilst other draw them. It actually takes a lot of muscle control and mindfulness to stay upright. Fortunately James is a yoga enthusiast so sitting with legs crossed and hands in namaste at the heart chakra is a breeze. Breathing exercises helping concentration.

White conte pastel on black paper 31.5 x 45 cm (c. 12 x 16 "). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

On the verso there is another monochrome pastel warm-up sketch of James standing up, with a sword raised over his right shoulder, which does not show through. This is shown in the photographs in this gallery so you don't have a surprise on receipt of the piece.
