These paintings explore the langauage of painting with material collected from the landscape around Somerset and Devon, including material from Watchet and Bideford. Each small painting are characters who are brought together to form a larger narrative, each with their own plot/ storyline. Overall these paintings explore a poetics of storytelling through their formation, the invervention of the artist and their thoughts coalesing into a coherent spectacle of mythmaking.
