These beech trees at Swan Green in the New Forest, Hampshire, UK are a favourite of mine and I have made images here on numerous occasions. The presence of mist completely transforms the scene. It's one of my favourite Forest pictures. I doubt that I’ll see it looking better, but that won’t stop me revisiting!

The photograph was made with on a 5x4 inch view camera with Fuji Velvia film. Camera movements were used to ensure maximum front to back sharpness in the picture.

Materials used:

Giclee print using Canon Lucia Pro Pigment inks on Heavyweight Fine Art matte paper
