BY BUYING MY ART YOU HELP SUPPORT MY FAMILY IN UKRAIN
The inspiration for this Mystery Lighthouse oil painting was the North Pier Light. This lighthouse helps guide boats into and out of Presque Isle Bay at Erie, the city where I live. I love this place and visit it often. Depending on the weather it looks different. My idea was to add a little mysticism and a touch of antiquity to the painting.
Original painting - painted on a stretched canvas and finished with gloss varnish. Sides are painted and the painting is ready to hang.
The painting is completely done with a palette knife, has a convex structure.
