A monochrome artwork with earth tones from light golden sienna to sepia and burnt umber. Some textures and colors from the lower layers of paint still appear, but these were almost completely covered under the surface that was last treated with a broad brush, where the fine stripes can still be seen.
A painting reminiscent of William Turner, but where the landscape disappears into abstraction.

Creating this artwork was very relaxing and I loved to work on this monochrome painting with its soft tones. Only the size of the artwork puts you under its spell and radiates absolute silence.
