This surrealist stylized portrait of a mysteriously calm, yet strong looking young African woman is build up from many layers of different 2d materials.
(ink, acrylic paint, lightfast markers, watercolor spray, pencils etc etc)

I usually paint my colorful female figures in very flat planes with bold outlines,
yet this time I wanted to celebrate the female universe in all it's diverseness using tumultuous expressional strokes and textures and make the beauty arise from there.

This artwork is framed in a black box frame that allows the flanks of the painting to still be seen whilst making it pop off the wall.

It's signed with a symbol on the front,
on the back you will find the larger signature, the year of making and the title.
You will also receive a certificate of authenticity with this painting.

It's ready to hang with the hooks already attached.
