A girl is having fun on a swing, against the background of the demolition of the city where she was born. An industrial city with old dilapidated buildings being demolished to make way for modern industry, the Philips buildings in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

My Wasteland is one of the many 'swing' artworks I've made.

It represents the freedom you feel as a child. At the same time, it shows how locked up the children live today. Inside, behind their laptops and smartphones.
