The importance of the Vitruvian Man in the history of art is enormous, as it symbolizes the fusion of art, science and philosophy, which was typical of the Renaissance. This drawing illustrates the humanistic belief in the perfection and harmony of the human body, and in a more traditional sense - the entire universe. I wanted to create my own color interpretation of the Vitruvian Man, having a reproduction of the graphic sketch on paper. I wanted to focus on the beauty of this image, and not the scientific view. And after studying the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci, I wanted to try and feel what he felt. This fusion of past and present gives goosebumps. and it is also incredibly beautiful.
