My Trophy
The ambiguity lies in the narrative the painting suggests but does not fully reveal. Is the title a reflection of the man’s view of their relationship, or a critique of how society labels such unions? Does the young woman find empowerment in their partnership, or does she exist as an object of fascination in his world? Who is whose Trophy ..?

Their connection portrayed with both tenderness and quiet tension. Her expression is enigmatic—partly serene, partly introspective—while his carries an air of confidence, even pride.

By evoking subtle tension between connection and disparity, My Trophy explores the complexities of East-West relationships, challenging viewers to question assumptions and consider the unseen dynamics beneath outward appearances.

Painted in pastel tone acrylics on canvas on board. The painting can be framed, or put as is - as the surface is rigid - on a shelf or on a piece of furniture.
No frame included.
Will be sent safely packed mostly in upcycled packing materials, together with its certificate of authenticity.
