My story 2 - As a clown.

The concept for this collection is based on identity. A narrative depiction of a self portrait.

My Story, the first painting in the series, discussed elements of my life. Whilst leaving recognisable form and features behind focusing on narrative elements instead.

This second piece in the series exaggerates the narrative of the clown further.
How we play a part, to play a role. A mask we hide behind? Our identity we create. Are we stronger with a face to hide behind? Also a nod to the extremes of make up.

There's also a nod to Picasso's style, as I have studied his work through out my career.

I also like the idea that I could create works similar for other people. Tell someone else story. Please contact me if interested.
