Wanting a "pop" of colour, I bought some Schiaparelli pink cushions for a bedroom and instantly fell in love with the rich pink. How could I give a painting the same pop of colour? Which flower would provide the means? Trawling through a plant catalogue, one stood out withi it's bright labellum...I had my pop of colour.
