When I created this bear painting I wanted him to be in amongst the trees in his natural surroundings but I didn't want to paint trees so I decided to experiment with collage and a gelli plate, I've been an admirer of abstract paintings for years and this gave me a chance to have a play and I must say I really enjoyed it!

My Neck Of The Woods has been painted on a stretched canvas measuring just under H24 x 18inches, I've used acrylic paints, tissue paper and gloss medium then sealed it all with satin varnish. There is a lot of texture in this painting.

He is ready to hang or you could take him to your local framer and find a grand frame for him!
