Words and expression of a Winter Sunset reflecting over Wincombe lake just over the border of North Dorset into Wiltshire.
Original expressive watercolour on high quality watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb.
I used a wet on wet technique using a delicate build up of back washes making sure the paper is wet before applying the paint. Allowing the colours to merge on the paper using a Chinese hake and moving the painting by tipping horizontal then lying it flat.
