Original artwork description:

This delicate white carnation still life oil painting is perfect for a nightstand or bookshelf.
I painted this flower painting from direct observation one afternoon in March 2020 just as Italy was about to enter into lockdown.
The canvas has been glued to its wood board surface using rabbit skin glue. The canvas was then prepared with a traditional mix of Bologna gesso and rabbit skin glue.

The painting can be framed or sit steadily on its own.
